Hiking trail of the waterfalls - red tour

Oberhaslach

Hiking trail in forest in the direction of the waterfalls of Nideck and Luttenbach. Two other variants of the circuit exist to discover the waterfalls of Weinbaechel and Soultzbach.

Take the path in the direction of Nideck waterfall. After 20 minutes, the Nideck castle ruins and the waterfall appear. To the right of the waterfall, there is a path leading to the summit. Cross the small wooden bridge to get to the ruins. Follow the red markings to reach the RD218. Continue for a few metres and take the path to the right towards Anlagen and the Hohenstein ruins. To complete the circuit, follow the red markings taking you back to Hohensteinwald forester’s house.
