Nature outing: Pollinating foragers

Ungersheim

05/05/2024

The Ecomusée d'Alsace's volunteer naturalists' guild invites you to discover the museum's natural areas through a theme. With your guide, wander through nature and learn more about the fauna and flora. Without further ado, discover the theme of the fourth Nature Rendezvous of the year!

Flowers are an important source of food and energy for insects. In return, they participate in pollination, which ensures the reproduction of these plants. By visiting these very diverse environments of the Ecomusée, you will be able to observe and appreciate a large number of these foragers and above all realise their importance and diversity... and perhaps they will be a source of inspiration for the development of your own small gardens. Domestic bees, wild bees, wasps, beetles, butterflies, flies... There are a multitude of them buzzing around when the table is well served, each one seeking its place and contributing its stone to the complex and fragile edifice of nature.
