Meet Jean-François Kovar from the Université Populaire du Vignoble. For this new series of conferences, he will introduce you to the faces of Christianity.

On the agenda tonight: Ignace de Loyola
A noble native of Navarre, a student at the Sorbonne, Ignatius of Loyola founded the Jesuits in Paris in 1534. They settled in Rome at the heart of Catholicity. In the aftermath of the Council of Trent, they constituted the armed arm of the Counter-Reformation, developing a missionary and teaching charism. Ignatius of Loyola died in 1556 and was canonized in 1622.
