Ramparts and Vineyards trails - Dieffenthal

Dieffenthal

The stone, whether it was worked by the glaciers, the Celts, the Romans or even by the winegrowers, marks out these discovery routes in unusual forms and gives the wines of this region their very special aromas.

Stones, low walls, castles and winegrowers' houses are all witnesses to history and mark out the route where the walker can admire the exceptional panorama of the Alsace plain, and be surprised by unusual landscapes...

In the shadow of the Ortenbourg castle, an emblematic granite silhouette, the communes of Dieffenthal, Scherwiller and Châtenois offer 15 discovery points spread over three routes, close to prestigious tourist sites such as the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle.

Stone and vine rub shoulders, intermingle and feed off each other.
