Hiking Legend of the Lady in white

Circuit to discover the ruins of the castles and the legend of the White Lady who haunts the Hohenstein. On the way, there are also Gallo-Roman remains.

From the hostellerie Saint-Florent, take rue des Ecoles, then rue Schotten. At the intersection take at left to Rue du Ringelstein and then follow the trail at the right of the house No. 19 and reach the forest road further on. Turn left to join the sculptures trail and the path towards castle Hohenstein (yellow cross). <br /> To see the castle: take the path to the left after the sculpture "Existe t-il". Go see the point of view then go back until the forest road then left for a few meters and take right.<br /> Follow the path and arrive in a big left turn, climb the path. Continue your way to the ruins of the two castles Ringelstein (blue ring): the Great and the Little. At the top of the Grand Ringelsberg lies the ruins of the Ringelstein.When you arrive at the crossroad with a forest road take almost in front of you until the Kasperlehep ponds, then turn left and follow the Luttenbach River (yellow triangle) to go down to the village. Arriving at Route D218, take at right a few meters to reach the GR53 on the left (red rectangle). Pass behind the Luttenbach campsite and continue straight until the first houses of Oberhaslach. At the end of the rue de la forêt, take at left (yellow x cross). At the rue Klintz, take rue du Nideck to the right to return to your starting point.
