The congregation of the Sisters of the Very Holy Saver is founded in 1849 per Elisabeth Eppinger (1814-1867) native of Niederbronn-les-Bains. Today the congregation is largely represented in Europe, Africa and Asia. Its native house street of the Shepherds.
