The landscapes along this beautiful trail testify to the wide-ranging work of an exceptional man, Pastor J-F. Oberlin. The Reposoirs, relaxing groves for people and animals; the Fiancées Avenue with its exquisite lime trees, where young couples got engaged; the Oberlin Museum in the old vicarage; and the infants schools set up by Pastor Oberlin all represent the 59 years he devoted to the social and cultural development of the region.
