Step inside Lucie’s workshop to discover the meticulous techniques involved in a rare craft: upholstery.
During a demonstration, Lucie explains how she goes about restoring an armchair using traditional methods. Strapping, padding, horsehair filling, sewing… these are just some of the stages that showcase the artisan’s wide-ranging skills.
As an added bonus, Lucie has invited a bookbinder to her workshop to introduce you to two artistic crafts for the price of one!
