Guebwiller
A "classic" itinerary starting from Guebwiller for a circuit that doesn't take you too far or across a mountain pass that might be too high.
The Bannstein pass only has a somewhat raised part of 2 km between 5 and 7% but this can be easily crossed. You will have the chance to catch your breath during the descent to Soultzmatt via Gauchmatt and its Roman military cemetery. The climb is longer if you follow the circuit in the other direction (4 km at 5%)
