Guebwiller
This route, longer than 51km, will take you to the top of the Vosges.
Departing from Guebwiller, you will soon be in the thick of it, since you will begin ascending the Col Amic after 5km.
At the summit of this first ridge, the ascent continues. Follow directions for the Grand Ballon for another 6.5km of ascent, before reaching the summit of the Vosges (1424m).
Take a moment to observe the magnificent view in front of you. A gentle descent down the Markstein is well deserved, and it will get you back to your starting point at Guebwiller.
